When I first started writing, every person I read online who was “successful” used to say that a “daily writing habit” was the most important thing that you needed to build a career writing online.

At first, I agreed and this is what I did.

I wrote every day. I published for years,

For a long time, however, I had few to no results. I’d have an article blow up here or there, but there was no sustainable engine that was helping me with my content.

Then earlier this year, I learned something and I had a realization about what needed to change with my writing.

Let’s talk about why most writers are stuck what you need to do unstick yourself and get moving in the right direction.

Publishing every day is the first thing you need to do.

This is important — you can’t build an audience without a consistent flow of content.

Usually, you need more content than you think.

However, this is not what keeps writers stuck for years on a hamster wheel of low-performing articles, a low-quality life, and burnout from writing.
