I’ve always been painfully a slow reader.

I have ADHD, and I’m probably never going to be someone who reads a book a week or anything like that.

However, when the pandemic started and forced me inside a few years ago, I decided that I was going to read at least 2 books per month. It was a small goal at the time, but I’ve stuck with it.

The beautiful thing about habits is that when you stick with them, they compound.

Now, in the last 2.5 years, I’ve read nearly 75 books. I’ve read books on philosophy, writing, self-improvement, science, and more. I’ve read fiction and non-fiction. I’ve read a lot.

These are the 10 books that made the biggest impact on me.

For One More Day — Mitch Albom

I just finished this one on the plane.

It made me cry.

I’ll spare you a lengthy write-up and leave you with the question the book focuses on: What would you do if you could spend one more day with a lost loved one?
