It seems that I enjoy Medium for a lot of the same reasons you do. I guess it’s technically a “social media” platform, but it feels to me to be a bit less shallow than the others, perhaps because written word is harder to fake than an image. It’s also the first platform I’ve been able to have a sense of “community” with complete strangers, and I think that’s pretty cool.

I also really enjoyed the way you tied in your own story here and I look forward to reading more of your work - you do an excellent job of self-analysis that I’m sure is more difficult than you make it seem.
