Hi there, I'd love to write for Lessons from History!

My favorite historical figure is Da Vinci. His diverse skillset, creativity, and the beauty of his work keep me coming back to him.

Also, it's pretty likely that he had ADHD (like me), which makes me find him especially interesting.

I think that you can judge the past with today's lens, but I think that this can very limiting. To truly grasp history, you must do your best to put yourself in the shoes of past historical figures - even if this means going against some of your deepest principles.
