24 Hours In Tangier, Morocco
My first time in Africa.
In the last installment of my travel articles, I talked about my recent trip through Barcelona, where my girlfriend and I ate tapas, took a trip to Girona and Figueres to see the Salvador Dali Museum (1 museum visit per trip is enough for me), and strolled the streets of one of the most amazing cities in the world looking at lots of fancy schmancy architecture.
It was a trip to remember, and I learned a lot of interesting lessons about art, creativity, work, and “greatness”.
After Barcelona, we took an early flight to Granada, Spain, a city tucked away in the mountains of the Spanish autonomous community of Andalucia.
Granada was beautiful — full of history, mountain views, and my favorite part, free tapas included with each drink purchased at most bars. One day I’ll write a whole article about our 3 days in Granada.
But after Granada, MJ and I went on an adventure.
Here’s how we ended up in Morocco just 24 hours after leaving Granada.
The Port of Algeciras
Granada to Morocco is a bit of a mission, especially if you’re not taking an airplane.
For us, it took multiple trains, a ferry, and a couple of taxis.
