Turning 20 is the most confusing birthday you’ll have.

You’re definitely not a kid anymore, but you’re also definitely not an adult.

You’re in between stages.

You can die for your country, but you can’t legally order a beer. You need a job, but you don’t have any of the skills needed to get a well-paying job. If you’re anything like I was at 20, you’re probably a mess and don’t even realize how much of a mess you are.

If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t go back to 20.

Unless, maybe, I could go back knowing these 10 things.

Money is easier to spend than it is to make.

Making money takes time. It either takes a long time to build high-income skills, or it takes a long time to make because of your hourly rate. Spending, on the other hand, can be done by impulse. Learn how to manage money in your 20s.

You’re screwing up and you don’t realize why.
